ABA – The Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association – the oldest book dealers’ association. Runs a small number of high end fairs, some in conjunction with the PBFA.
Biblio – an independent online market place for books.
PBFA – The Provincial Booksellers’ Fairs Association – professionally run fairs across, England, Wales and Scotland attracting bookdealers from across the world. Books at all prices. Runs York National Book Fair – one of the biggest of its kind – every September. Small to medium sized fairs across the country during the rest of the year.
The PBFA directories also lists bricks and mortar book shops you can visit and has a directory of members with links to the websites (and other contact details) of individual bookdealers.

Prof Dimitra Fimi – Prof Fimi is the Professor of Fantasy and Children’s Literature at the University of Glasgow and a specialist on J. R. R. Tolkien. There are many essays on her website on writers such as Alan Garner, C.S. Lewis and Ursula K. Le Guin as well Tolklien plus more general pieces on fantasy, myth and legend writing.
